Burja Stranice has an aromatic and youthful bouquet of juicy ripe apricots, it is nicely highlighted in the mouth. The wine spreads beautifully around the mouth where it persists.
Burja Stranice is a blend of local varieties, mainly Malvasia, Laški Riesling and Rebula, coming from a single vineyard called Stranice. This vineyard of the Burja Estate, which covers 0.9 hectares, is located at an altitude of 160 m with an eastern exposure. The soil is developed on flysch, where marl predominates over sandstone. The vines are 60 years old. The grapes are harvested by hand, all varieties at the same time and macerated for 12 days. Spontaneous fermentation, maturation in egg-shaped concrete tanks for 18 months. Filled without filtration.
Ecological activity is controlled by SI-EKO-002.
